This information is never sent to our servers or to a third party. If you do not click the theme button, nothing is stored: the website simply follows your system setting.
The language of the website is set by the page address (/fr or /en): no language cookie is set.
Why no banner?
Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (which transposes Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive) requires your consent before trackers are stored or read, except when they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested. The only item stored by this website falls within that exception. If we ever add audience measurement, we will choose a cookieless, self-hosted tool meeting the CNIL’s exemption conditions, and update this page before turning it on.
What about the OK-GRC application?
The application (https://app.okgrc.com) only uses strictly necessary cookies: an authentication session cookie (secure, not readable by scripts) and preference cookies (theme, interface language). It contains no advertising or analytics trackers.
At checkout, you are redirected to the secure page of our payment provider Stripe, which may set its own cookies needed for fraud prevention, under its own policy.
